Hey there, my name is Gil Garza, I was born and raised a Texan. I'm very excited to be starting my first semester at Trinity University, I've already met a plethora of new and interesting people. I'm absolutely infatuated with traveling, food, music, and most importantly people. My hometown Austin, Texas probably being a huge influence to these interests, as it supports well rounded measures of each of them. I went to Westlake High, and lived in an area located right outside of the main Westlake Hills area called Rollingwood. Rollingwood is about 5 minutes from downtown Austin, and a short 3 blocks from Zilker Park, the home of ACL (Hometown). My interest in Trinity was aroused mainly due to its notorious reputation for great professors whom actually care about you. But, now that I've been on campus for the past week, there are new vibes I'm getting that seem to support my choice to come here as well. Such as the other students who are attending, all seem to excel greatly in atleast one aspect of their lifes. As you may have guessed already through my interests, I'm planning on becoming a business major, and at the moment leaned towards International business. In relativity to the class, I have no outstanding ability towards computers. I'm comfortable with basic programs and software, but that's about it, and hopefully that will change through this class haha.
